Mississagua River

Flow (estimated): medium

Mississagua Map

There is no online, or onsite gauge on the Mississagua. Your best bet is to check the rapid just below the put-in. If it has enough water, the middle section of the river should be good to go.

Description:

The Mississagua is a stunning river, with a real mix of rapids from easy class 2 to big Class 5. Similar to the Hwy 7 runs in character, it alternates short rapids with long, narrow lakes. The exception is the middle section that is quite narrow and more continuous. All the drops are scoutable and easily carried

Season:

Normally a spring run, this dam-controlled stream often has a good fall season as well.
