Thanks for the explaination. It seems that most manufacturers previously used HDPE and now used LDPE.
I became curious when I noticed an ad for a used HDPE wave sport Y, and they now make them out of LDPE. I also upgraded my 2005 WS Super EZ to a 2005 Jackson Super Fun which uses HDPE. I noticed the difference in appearence when standing them side by side.
Jackson hype lists a better “memory” in their boats plastic. Does HDPE tend to want to stay in the form molded? Is it easier or harded to repair dents? what about cracks?
