I have small kayak air bags bought at Bushtuka a few years ago in both ends of my C1 + all the floatation of the minicell foam of my bulkhead and seat. Make sure everything is held in place solid otherwise you’ll be picking the pieces in the pools at the bottom of the rapid.
Small plastic objects are NOT a good idea. If you’re swimming, I’ll assume you were in a reasonnably powerfull water feature, therefore anything not solidely in place in your boat will float away and you C1 will sink.
Buy small air bags and attach them solidely.
