    Hi,
The kayak schools who use Champlain during the summer months are Down to Earth (mushroom people), Trailhead and Liquid Skills.

Last year was a bit slow for white water so I’m not sure if Trailhead is continuing their white water programs – better call. Trailhead is probably the cheapest and they had good instruction for beginner/intermediate. For advanced instruction go for Liquid Skills – they are the best. I don’t know much about Down to Earth – I never took a course with them, but they seem nice.

    Hi,

I took three courses with downtoearth, they are really good with river runing skills and slalom. I don’t know about the other schools.

Down to Earth appears to have very limited instructional time this year – according to the calender published to date, the only offering is a week of day long instruction in the week of July 10, 2006.

Contact Jen to see if more may be offered as the season progresses.
