    Hey Mark,

There’s about 5 of us from McMaster Whitewater who are leaving Hamilton at about 11 a.m. We should be at the put in about noon.

The Yurinator and I are leaving Toronto around 9:30am tomorrow…..

We’re 50/50 between Parkhill or Irvine/Gorge right now. 9:30am from Toronto means 10:41am at Parkhill or 10:57am at the Gorge takeout (or timmies or whatever).

Umm… If anyone out there (who doesn’t mind Yurii’s B.O.) wants to paddle with us, then poster ici, and I will read, then reply, then there will be much joy…..

    Cheers,

    Boobies.

So I’ll post in the morning to let you know if we’re at the Gorge at 11am…..

It’s really up to Yuro, since he’s the pissy one who likes to moan and bitch, but I’ll post in the morning to say Parkhill or Gorge…..

Hope that’s all cool with you. If we decide on Parkhill I hope you won’t be offended….. (you could always join us there… I hear open boats can surf sometimes… a bit…. sorta…..)

    Hey,

So we’re going to Parkhill….. The level is too good to miss (190cms now)….. Irvine is at 25cms and Gorge is at 60cms (also very good).

We’re not going to leave until 10 or 10:15… Get there around 11:15…..

    Here are the directions:

But I do think that as an open-boater, you’d probably have a lot more fun running the Gorge with the group from Hamilton. 190 is a trashy level for catching the main wave at Parkhill, and the smaller green wave is washed out….. Getting onto the wave from the hole side would be a bit like dropping into Phil’s….. If you wouldn’t drop into Phil’s for fun (in this weather and water temperature), then Parkhill is probably not a good idea.

Generally speaking I’d say over a 40cfs on Irvine and 100cfs and on Elora go with a creeker. other wise go with a playboat. But I’m sure everyone has their own take on it. Park hill is all park and play.
