What is everyone’s age in this forum. Seems kayaking is a sport that has people from pretty much every age group.

I wonder what the demographics are for age vs. boat type…. OC1, C1, K1

I was wondering the same thing the other day. My guess is that the OC age average would be higher than the K.

Maybe…my older son (17) paddles a c1 conversion (G-Ride), but my younger son (14) paddles an oc1 (Aftershock), so he definately brings the average age down.

Must be nice to go paddling with “the boyz”. I have a couple of girls, but they are not there yet, but soon.

We met this boy Jordan on the Potomac a few weeks back who outfitted his Jackson Fun1 into a C1.
    Awesome! I think he’s 11

I’ve always wanted to try C1, but had knee surgery and still bad knees, so kneeling for periods at a time would not be good for me <img loading=” title=”Sad” />

yeah, the whole knee thing and C1 paddling is an issue for me too. I have my canoe whitewater cert. and what not, but it just hurts way to much. This coming from a 19 year old. haha. I am falling apart. Quarter-life crisis.
