man.. .this is unreal… i used to work for the City of Niagara Falls… and every day on the way to work i went by those rapids…. I looked at them soo many times… I even got areal photography of whole river (some of the work perks.. ) and was looking at that too…

I am sooooooo jealous… too bad there are legal issues with accessing such a great run…

Check out "First Legal Decent of the Niagara Gorge" on Youtube…….classic ’80s journalism……..sorry, don’t know how to set up the direct link……but do go check it out.

Ok … I have a question about this supposed run down the Niagra Gorge by some of the JK crew.

Is this for real or just BS

How could a company that puts family values first opening admit in a public forum (their website) to performing a illegal act

Are they now condoning illegal park and huck and other stuff to the younger generation

    Just curious.

Oh my god and I hope they didn’t leave any plastic scrapings on the rocks either.

    Hi Colin,

Definetly for real. Been done in a Descender(open boat) by Nolan Whitesell many years ago. So for top guns like these guys, no problem beleiving this

Went to Niagara falls last year, walked the boardwalk along this incredible run. This is not class VI but very big class V and with the right people and legal access I would consider running this in an open boat.

I think it’s complete BS that this is an illegal run !!!

And we need pioneers like these guys to show the world it can be ran safely (by a crew of experts / pros).

Good show guys and keep upping the ante !

 Too much water for this…Now with the 50km/hr speed, if they hit a fish…might have some colored fish skin  I wonder if the plastic on fish skin is bad, might protect them from UV rays when they surface…enough stupidity  back to work !

    Sarcasm Colin.

The list of names who’ve run this is quite long.

Chris Spelius, Nolan Whitesell, Chris Koll, Bruce Reiger and several others who’s names escape me.
