    Hi !!
I currently have a 2005 Jackson Kayak All-Star. I looked at the 2007 model and was tempted to buy it. However, I was wondering if the difference between the two boats is worth it… Does anybody had the chance to paddle both models and compare them.

Hope that someone can help me with this one…
    Thank you very much !!

    Hi,

I just read your post, and thought I would write a few things down since I have paddled both now. The 2007 model is way faster with the flat bottom hull and the lines along the chines make it a smooth transition from the old version to the new one. I find the 07 model to be more balanced and smother to move around in the Hole or Wave.

When Bussy was in this past spring I was able to throw down clean blunts and back blunts with ease. Infact cleaning has never been so easy with the newer design, I think once you try it out you will agree that the new design is way faster and slicer than the older version.
    enjoy happy surfing,
    Brad

The 07 boat is a rocket ship, now from what I have seen its just as fast as the Projects, The 05 dosent compare. Faster, better volume displacement, slicy.
    Awsome boat all round.
