Kawartha Whitewater Paddlers are paddling this Saturday, June 2nd at Burleigh Falls (in the Kawartha’s). All are welcome to come.
Burleigh Falls is a short section of whitewater that passes under Hwy#28 20min North of Peterborough. It is a park and play/run spot. This section of river can be very challenging in the spring to very easy (beginner) in the summer; I think we can expect the latter this weekend. I can’t guarantee good water levels but it still better then mowing the grass. We are planning on paddling around 1:00pm and hitting the Burleigh Island Lodge around 4:00pm for some refreshments. Stephen and I had a great time paddling with your group, even if the level was very low. I have put up most of the pictures I took on my web site. They can be found at [url:20a8hja6]http://peter.lpi-solutions.com/zoph/photos.php?album_id=10[/url:20a8hja6]. I think I have a shot of just about everyone.
