It was mentioned in a recent post that perhaps our Legal Fund Trip was well intentioned but perhaps not practical as our available space was for Sunday afternoon and not realistic for people to participate in (particularly if they had a long drive).
Well, if that is the case….. I have another idea that should be accessable to everyone.
Esprit will donate $100 per person who books the following programs prior to Friday June 23, 9:00 pm up to a total of $10000.
1 day rafting trip (Sunday-Friday) on the Ottawa River until Oct 15
3 day Swiftwater Rescue Course
5 day beginner kayak school
8 day Mexico Week of Rivers
Check out http://www.whitewater.ca for details.
If none of these things interest you, a friend or family member….. then please just consider a $100 donation directly to Les Amis. We need to keep this fight alive and we need YOUR support.
To make your donation/reservation contact Jim/Julie at Esprit 1-800-596-7238
or email@example.com. You must identify that you are part of the Les AMIS LEGAL FUND promotion and $100 of your purchase will go to Les Amis.
We still have lots of space on the Legal Fund trip on Sunday Afternoon. No better way to save the Kipawa than running the Kipawa!
I feel we are now offering something for everyone. Convince a friend to come rafting or buy them a gift certificate, book a beginner kayak school for a friend or family member, invest in yourself with a swiftwater rescue course, or join us on the best/most affordable winter paddling holiday in Mexico.
Invest in yourself, your family, your friends….. support a socially and environmentally active/consciencious company and at the same time contribute to a landmark legal case for river preservation.
This is what YOU can do to help save the Kipawa.
Many thank to those that have contributed already….We are still $9000 short of our goal.
Jim, Erin & Team Esprit
PS A post has been dedicated to how “cheap/selfish paddlers are”. Kevin, who started the post has committed $500 already, we are giving another $100 on behalf of Mano and his wife…. . Lets prove we care about our navigation rights, our rivers, our collective/shared interest, the Kipawa River. Call today…don’t let this wait until tomorrow.
