That’s right, tommorow at around 6:00 I will be releasing the little numbered foam chunks that will represent your winning number.

It will be at the Grand River in Fergus below the tooth of time. Feel free to show up and yell out your number to cheer it on. However this behaviour may make you look slightly foolish. But hey, it might be fun.
Good luck to all the entrants.

I will make the announcement Wednesday night or Thursday.

Details?! Will you run down to the take-out and wait for the winning number to cross the finish line? A ‘foamy-boater-cross’ kind of race?

Are they environmentally friendly and CFC free.

You would not want POBO to report you to the Earth Huggers Society

Are you following them down the river?

Can you provide directions to the event.

Hey, great, automatically according to Kevin M’s rules, if an open boater/c1er bought a raffle ticket, they’ve doubled their chances, as each c-foamie comprises 1 swimmer and one canoe/c1.

What is it that they say?

1/2 the blade, twice the chances.

Thanks to all you ticket purchasers out there. Your participation will, in Kevin’s estimation, win you much river kharma.

    Good thing to have!

    Feel good about your involvement.

We actually sold 109 tickets. There was a bit of a miscount but it is all figure out now.

Sorry Colin all the foam used in the draw is not biodegrable, it will last 10,000 years and sadly releases toxic chemical into the water just by floating for 5 minutes. In fact a 1lb chunk of foam can release 10 gallons of arsenic into the river in 10 minutes. Some kind of weird sun, water, oxygen reaction that we have noticed. Too bad we couldn’t harness it. Oh well, try not to roll much for a couple of days after the draw. Oh yeah, and don’t eat the fish you catch. That’s what canoeists are really doing on the river. They are really fishing aren’t they?

The foamy kayakers are about 1/2"x3/4"x6" rectangles so they resemble old school kayaks in shape. They were the best for getting stuck in holes and getting their butts kicked.

The river Kharma will have to be strong in you to win this contest.

    Kevin
