    Hi All,

I bit the bullet and bought the LL CR250. I put 2 float bags in the stern, but there is still room to spare. Should I add more flotation to take up the space, or are the 2 that are in there enough?

    Thanks

    Mike

You should be good. Any air bags are better then nothing when doing rescues.

Some air bags are better than none. The CR250 has a huge cockpit (it’s going to hold a lot of water without you in it), so the more air you can get in it, the better. If the stern is half-full of air bags, you might want to get larger ones. If there is just some space between the seat and the bags, that is OK – gives you someplace to put your lunch and safety gear.

More importantly, make sure they are tied in well. It’s amazing how easily airbags can get ejected by the river.

…if they aren’t tight they may come out if getting worked…..make sure they are tide in like Tom and if they are floppy put a noodle in with em to tighten em’ up!
