Tonight (despite the low water and crappy weather) is our second Monday night paddle at the Gull of this season. Anybody who would like to see what the river looks like at this level, or would just like come out for the social aspect of the evening is more then welcome to come. We will begin at 6:00 and end when the last man drops. The water has begun to warm up so lets fight the flys and have a great night of paddling!
….But we still had a great time which once again proves the statement: “A bad day on the water is still better than a good day at work” true.
We straight surfed Earls for awhile and then ran the falls which was a bit bumpy. Had a couple great splats and boofs on the way down. Rich, Colin and myself moved a few big rocks at the bottom to increase the flow for the wave while Bryce, Scott and the gang surfed at the bottom of the Otterslide.
All in all a great monday night paddle topped off by some late night Subway eats.
Looking forward to seeing you this coming monday ” title=”Smile” />
