If you would like to join me in getting your paddling-surfing ”fix”, I’ll be at Champlain tomorrow, at 1:30pm, to surf by the wall for an hour, or weather permitting, two hours. Warm attire strongly recommended…

Hope to see some of you there,

    Cheers,

Don’t know where you’re coming from so the directions are going to be generic. Go down the Ottawa River Parkway, to the Champlain Bridge, turn onto the bridge towards Gatineau (Hull), drive to the island, turn right onto the island entrance, drive down about 100 meters, park and paddle your heart out. Just a warning, the levels are kind of low, as of this time only 3.15 at the Britania Gauge, so front surfing is about your only option. You can try spins on the second wave but it’s steep and if you flip there is a good chance of hitting the bottom. See you tomorrow.
