I just traded my Necky Mission for a Necky Chronic, using the Boater Board and I am very happy-gratefull for the existence of this forum that lets us do these exchanges.
I thought I would try to pay it forward by plugging an incredible bargain posted a few days ago, in the Boater Classified. It’s a Whites dry suit , for sale by a paddler named Frans (Fozzy) a regular at the Champlain bridge. It’s a full drysuit with intergrated boots and looked practically brand new! Just needs a neck gasket which Boatwerks probably sells (another plug). The guy is asking 75 dollars! which is a fantastic bargain for a suit in this condition, add another 35 to 50 bucks for the gasket to be bought and be installed and say yes to early Spring, late Fall paddling. It’s a small size, probably good up to 5 feet, 7 and a half inches, and up to size 9 feet, so good for shorter men or ladies. I was very, very disapointed that it did not fit me. First time ever that I have been to tall to fit in something, usually it’s the other way around, but at 5 feet 9 inches, the suit was just to tight for me, go figure, anyway buy this suit, really good deal!
