I’m headed up to Port Albert on Lake Huron for a guys poker weekend thing. With the upcoming weather I’m hoping to paddle Friday on the way up, and Sunday on the way back.

Anyone planning the Irvine or Gorge for Sunday afternoon? I know it’s hard to say before the weather hits, but if anyone is thinking about it, I am too.

What happened with collecting money to work on the stairs? Is that still happening? Is anyone working on that, or planning it? If I ran the Irvine on Sunday, what would be the deal with the stairs?

Yuro, Deemo, Boydo, Mano, Irvine or Parkhill on Sunday?

    Friday I’d only have time for a pit-stop at Parkhill… Maybe 6-8pm.

They’re calling for 15-20mm rain tomorrow… Looks good!

Not sure what my plans are… depends on levels.

Friday night.. maybe. If Parkhill goes super high on Friday than I think I will be there.

Saturdayl: yes.. I plan to paddle Saturday if anything comes up.

Sunday: Possibly late in the day. I have lunch with the future in-laws to attend to, so it all depends when that ends.

    come on big flood!

We have a tentative deal on the irvine to fix the stairs and get access.

The Landlord said “I don’t want hundreds of people coming through here and using my stairs” She also said the stairs are off limits until they are fixed. I wanted to get in their early and get things going but she wants to wait until spring.

I guess we have a problem for this spring. If people start sneaking in and using the stairs or worse yet lip her off and use them anyway then we are done for.

I have a back up plan but I’ve been too busy destroying the earth with my snowmobile to put it in place. I’ll post more tonight.

Until then please don’t use the wooden stairs.
