I will try and be brief.

    Drove a long way.

    Setup camp.

    Paddled in the rain.

    Good food.

Met old friends and new friends.

Partied (i was only one with fugly shirt and pimp daddy ho hat)

Paddled in the sun. Beautitful scenery.

Took me 5 trys to drop into Lucifers Anus. Kept missing the hole by going right but I finally got in and side surfed for about 4 seconds before window shading multiple times, almost rolled up, and then got spit out like a terd. I got a lot of whoooo hooooos from shore

    Took some pictures.

    Took down camp.

Stopped at Esprit to vist Princess Leah.

    Crashed at my dads place.

Here is a link to some pics

We all had fun and it was worth the trip.

Some people think my TR’s are too long so if you don’t like this one I can post a longer version later after I write it when I get home.

Sorry we couldn’t stick around to see you shoot out like bad diarrhea. Had a blast with everyone and look forward to taking the time to go through the pics.

Hope that was the only time you swam. Did you run the right hand drop at Des Cedres or did you take the pinball run around the Island? That run was quite fun.

Just ran the drop even though they told everyone it was a mandatory portage. The water was a foot higher than saturday.

I got farther down the river at Bonnet Rouge on sunday. I managed to do the river right drop and then made it to the second wave before literally jumping out of my boat. FYI … i was running the rapids while standing up up in my boat to see how far I could make it. It really doesn’t count as a swim.

How did everyone else do? I lost it at the bottom of la haute tension and didn’t think I was ever going to come to the surface again. Finally got into the eddy with a little help and encouragement from my friends.

I actually enjoy your longer more detailed reports.

It’s just my paddling friends pressure me to do one, and I’m too busy wasting time posting other useless stuff to this board (and pretending to work).

So stop stealing my verbose writing style, and get back to the Novellas!!!!!!

i made it down clean the first time and then I decided to run Stylz boat down so she wouldn’t have to portage it. Ha… bad move. I made it half way down and hit the huge hole in the middle. Tried rolling a few times and ended up doing my most epic swim ever. I remember being under water looking up at the light and wondering to myself "hmmm, I wonder when I’m going to surface". Definately scarier than my Phils swim earlier this year. Can’t wait to go back for another epic swim:) Stylz and I had a great time paddling with you guys this weekend. Looking forward to our next paddling adventure.

Gat fest. Good times all around. I had a great weekend. Can’t wait to go back. Long drive though.

Hmmmm….. maybe next year the river will come to me?

I will write it up tomorrow … I am tired as I just got home.

We stopped at MKC on the way back today and paddled there for a few hours.

    Now you’re just getting redundant.

I’ll be able to waste time at work while reading the full Gat TR and MKC side run.

Moi aussi. Same experience…no idea where I was, couldn’t swim up, saw the light, wondered if I was going to die. It seemed like forever. I decided to swim one direction and finally came up. A la prochaine fois.
