Hey, I will be arriving in Ottawa next Sat (Sept. 15). I’ve got a couple of questions: 1. Where is a good place -close to the river- to camp?
    2. Where would be a good place to rent equipment?
    3. Where might I find other paddlers, especially midweek?
I will be in Canada until Oct. 3. I can run class V, eg., Cherry Creek, but am mainly looking for fun Class IV etc.

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Peter

PS I also plan to get to Montreal to check out the La Chine wave. I am wondering what part of the city would be best to stay in, inexpensive lodging (hostels, cheaper motels etc.). Merci. <img loading=” title=”Cool” />

river Run closes sept 16th and if wilderness tours is closed them you’re SOL for camping except that first weekend.
Liquid Skills in Beachburg has a B & B and could rent equipment.
    will you have transportation?

PM me, I might be able to help you out on all three counts.
