Kawartha Whitewater Paddlers Evening Paddle
Date: June 13, 2007 (Wednesday) at 6:30pm till dark.
Location: Burleighfalls, North of Lakefield on Hwy #28
Please give me a e-mail if you are planning on attending so I know if people are going to come.
See you there!
This sounds like the perfect reason to leave work early. I just have to tell the boss I will be golfing and he practically pushes me out of the office. Look for me in a big red Pyranha Burn.
Ok then I will be there. Any questions just let me know.
Is there play? Good eddy service to the features? Really, is it worth the drive from the west end of Toronto?
Depends on the level. This weekend there was one gate open. which means the dam is runable. Not any great play unless there is a wave at the dam. It is really water depedent, so hard to tell until you get there.
It looks like I will be leaving Toronto around 2:00 p.m. and on the water about 4:00. Is there still a chance of a thunderstorm this afternnoon North of Lakefield?
