Now that River Run is closed for the season, does anyone know where camping is available?
Any ideas would be appreciated!
Read your post and thought I’d pass this info on to you:
Mr. Dale Curtis has 2 cabins to rent I be thinking.
Contact email@example.com or 613-582 3553.
Happy Paddle Camping!
I’m not sure, but you should check with Wilderness Tours and see if the free camping at the Blacks Take-out is still on. There was free camping there during the summer.
The log and lantern is supposed to be open
Also check Parc Du Rocher Fendu on the Quebec side. http://www.horizonx.ca/en/hostel.html
If there is still camping avaialble at blacks takeout please let me know.
Good luck and thanks
We’re trying to find camping for this weekend too. Any luck?
We’re staying at one of the Dale Curtis cabins. I understand that Log and Lantern is still open to campers. Contact information for Ottawa River accommodations is at this link:
I’ll try to get in touch with Log and Lantern again tomorrow.
Log n Lantern is actually closed, but if you call and let him know you would like to camp, he will open. I would call them (613) 582-7339 so that he opens the gate ahead of time.
Very cool ” title=”Cool” />
See you at the Ottawa, Leah
